Quick review

How do you review a book when you feel like you missed half of the story?

That's what I'm wondering right now, because it's exactly how I feel. Take Me Now had a solid premise, an intriguing prologue, and nice writing. But when I was finished, I felt bereft. There are many things happening between the chapters, emotions are left out, backgrounds of the main characters insufficient. Basically, it wasn't fleshed out enough. Not the story, the characters, the writing. Instead of showing the growing attraction and interest between the main characters, the story relies on instalove of epic proportions. For that reason it is difficult to review this book. The only thing that I can think about saying is that the story wasn't executed like it deserved.
