The Islamist Phoenix by Loretta Napoleoni

The Islamist Phoenix: The Islamic State and the Redrawing of the Middle East - Loretta Napoleoni

Quick review

To be honest, I didn't gain much by Napoleoni's work on ISIS. Not because the facts she states are right, but because either (1) she isn't a good writer, or (2) the Swedish translation of her work isn't up to quality. Truly, think it's a bit of both. The chapters were vague on what they wanted to portray regarding ISIS and, as said, the translation was no good. Together, it caused me to skim several paragraphs as it felt disjointed from the rest.
